Finished Silo season 3, and I have questions. Of course I do. That’s why they’re making season 4.

The big one is still why. I was glad when Juliette started pushing people to ask that too, and I like that it was a good catalyst for what eventually led to the survival of Silo 18 at the end.

What I don’t like are all the clichés and the parallel storyline which, while important to the show and interesting in its own right, was too long and too involved. They should have kept it to one dedicated episode perhaps. I’m all about LGBTQ+ in shows of course, but having one here felt forced and artificial, you know, as if you can’t get the seal of approval if you don’t have one gay relationship taking place, and two women at that (two birds with one stone to get the marketing right). Meh.

There are a few plot holes, like the whole light bulbs thing (for what? And couldn’t they bring the plants upstairs, toward the roof, which does open to the sun every morning?), but overall I enjoyed it and will watch season 4 when it’s out.

Jack seems to like Small Prophets, and I think I’m going to check it out myself next.
