@benjamineskola I understand where you’re coming from as a person who got pulled into org-mode bit by bit for weeks. It was a lot to wrap my head around at start. Also, markdown is excellent for notes imo, it’s also more popular and supported by many more platforms where with org-mode, you’re pretty much stuck in Emacs. I am curious though; denote is exactly what you’re asking for, in a way: “a straightforward way to set org up for one-note-per-file with a consistent naming convention” that’s exactly what denote does, unless I don’t get you correctly?
