@clare_hooley @kev I used to be careful about including my email in the About section. My old blog used some sort of a riddle, if I recall, something like “the author of the post sitting at his domain” or something silly like that.

When I switched to Micro.blog at some point I added the reply by email plugin, and that was it. I get maybe one spam email in a few months (I can’t even say once a month). Not sure if it’s because my actual address is not written anywhere or something else is going on, but it works.

I was also toying with the idea of Letterbird, but I prefer to be upfront about the privacy of people visiting my site. I have a few features which I explain (for example, I use Google fonts for the title, or I use Tinylytics to track traffic), but Letterbird… eh. The reply button is good enough (pun intended).
